SADC HIV & AIDS Strategic Framework 2010-2015 Final Draft October

This document provides a strategic framework for the Southern African Development Community (SADC) response to the HIV and AIDS epidemic. The framework builds on what has been achieved under the previous Strategic Framework (2003–2007) and establishes strategic objectives and actions of operation for the period 2010–2015. The Strategic Framework is intended to provide guidance to the response to HIV and AIDS, especially to move towards Millennium Development Goal (MDG) 6 and its targets of halting and beginning to reverse the spread of HIV and AIDS by 2015 as well as the achievement, by 2010, of universal access to HIV and AIDS treatment for all those who need it.
