This is an appraisal report on the project to control communicable diseases in SADC.The project is a contribution towards SADC’s goal of achieving increased economic integration and development as well as the sector goal of attaining an acceptable standard of health for all citizens within the objective of ‘Health for All’ by 2020 in all SADC member states. This would be achieved through, amongst others, the reduction of morbidity and mortality due to HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria among the most vulnerable groups within the SADC.The sector goal is to attain an acceptable standard of health for all citizens within the objective of “Health for All” by 2020 in all the SADC member states.
